President and CEO is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Neuroscientist and previously served as Neuroimaging researcher at the Translational Affective Neuroscience Laboratory, University of Pittsburgh, Chief Resident of Research at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic; Director of Emotional Health for Doctor-On-Demand, the country’s leading telemedicine platform (Dr. Phil and The Doctors); lead architect for Kauffman Foundation conference on Patient Engagement; published scientific research on Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Medical School Center for Integrative Medicine; Graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Penn Medical School. Formerly ran all east coast operations for a Silicon Valley - based educational technology company. Tony received a degree in economics from Yale University, a law degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Chicago. As a computational psychologist, Johannes works on ways to measure the psychological states of large populations in space and time using social media, text mining and serious computing, to visualize them cleverly, and to use them to understand and predict health outcomes like heart disease and depression. He was elected an Emerging Leader in Science & Society by the American Association for Advancement of Science. Johannes holds a M.S. in Particle Physics from the University of Chicago, a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he is now in clinical psychology training in addition to his PhD research. Adjunct Professor of Design Management at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) for 17 years; president, Droz and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in marketing strategy; honored as a Distinguished Alumni, Harvard University (2006); co-founder of numerous startups; recipient of 20 “Marketer of the Year” awards granted by the American Marketing Association, including Grand Marketer of the Year (2012) for Medical and Healthcare Marketing; author of Click Here! (2014), a guide to leveraging online marketing and social media.
